The movie Tear This Heart Out, based on the novel “Arráncame la vida”, will be screened on the Women/Power Series event in Washington, D.C.
The Women /Power Film Series launches on October 5, 2010 with a special presentation by the Mexican author Ángeles Mastretta and the screening of the movie based on her novel “Arráncame la Vida”. The public can enjoy other films, mostly from Hispanic America, until October 15. Among these are: The Headless Woman (Argentina), The Maid (Chile), and María Cano (Colombia). Each movie will be shown at 6:30 p.m. in the Art Museum of the Americas or other buildings of the Organization of American States.
