Hispanic Culture Review is calling for essays, poems, short stories, reviews and visual art that pertain to the Hispanic culture. This year’s edition is featuring works that highlight immigration as their central theme. The journal welcomes original and unpublished submissions written in either Spanish or English.
Submit your work at https://hispanicculturereview.submittable.com/submit. DO NOT include name, contact information, or any other identifying information in the uploaded work. All contact information must go in the “Cover Letter” section of the submission form. Submissions should conform to the latest edition of the MLA Style Manual or APA. Acceptable length of text: essays, including endnotes: 3,000 words; narratives: 2,500 words; poems: 50 lines. Visual art guidelines: pictures in JPEG format, 300 pixels per inch. The selected contributions will be published in the printed and online version of HCR in April 2013. HCR reserves the right to publish submissions exclusively on its website.
