Gypsy Fire

“Evocative and exciting” (Las Vegas Review-Journal) describes The Compañia Flamenca Jose Porcel, founded in Madrid, Spain and is one of the premier dance troupes to present this enthralling art form. The Company displays the tradition of flamenco with live musicians, vocalists, and dancers. Due to their success on the North American Tour in the 2008-2009 season, The Compañia Flamenca Jose Porcel returns to the United States and Canada in the 2011-2012 season to present their new program “Gypsy Fire,” which presents the purest, oldest, and most fiery forms of flamenco.

The dates of the performances are October 28, 2011 and October 29, 2011 at 8:00 pm  at the George Mason University Center for the Arts. The program is 110 minutes. Before the show, people will have the opportunity to hear a pre-performance discussion with one of the company members. Tickets range from $22, $36, and $44.
